Workday is seeking a dynamic Senior Sales Specialist to lead the sales efforts for our Contract Intelligence and Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) solutions in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland).

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Sales Specialist at Workday, you will:

  • Drive Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for CLM solutions across the DACH region, targeting large enterprises and key industries.

  • Customer Engagement: Engage with C-suite executives and senior decision-makers to understand their business challenges and demonstrate how Workday’s solutions can drive efficiency and compliance.

  • Solution Selling: Utilize a consultative sales approach to position Workday’s CLM solutions as a strategic enabler of digital transformation in contract management.

  • Sales Execution: Lead the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting and lead generation to negotiation and closing, ensuring alignment with customer needs and Workday’s value proposition.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including pre-sales, legal, and product management, to tailor solutions and ensure successful implementation.

  • Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes to effectively position Workday’s solutions in the market.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should have:

  • Experience: A minimum of 8 years in enterprise software sales, with at least 5 years focused on Contract Lifecycle Management or related solutions.

  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of contract management processes, legal workflows, and compliance requirements in large enterprises.

  • Sales Expertise: Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a complex, solution-selling environment.

  • Communication Skills: Fluency in German and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.

  • Travel: Willingness to travel within the DACH region as required.
