Role Overview

The Recruitment Manager will play a pivotal role in leading the recruitment department, reporting directly to the CEO. This position involves overseeing the recruitment process, managing a team of recruitment professionals, and ensuring compliance with Nigerian labor laws and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Team Management: Lead and supervise all recruitment staff, ensuring high performance and professional development.

  • Recruitment & Client Engagement: Draft and advertise job descriptions, shortlist candidates, coordinate client interviews, prepare offer letters, and manage onboarding processes.

  • Training & Licensing Oversight: Oversee training, testing, and licensing of heavy-duty drivers, technicians, and skilled laborers at the training center in Ibeju-Lekki.

  • Compliance & Regulatory Knowledge: Ensure compliance with Nigerian labor laws, including pension ITF, NSITF, and NUPRC/DPR recruitment permits.

  • Operational Excellence: Collaborate with clients to understand their workforce needs and deliver tailored recruitment solutions.

Requirements

  • Location: Must reside in the Ajah-Lekki axis of Lagos State.

  • Experience: 3–5 years of verifiable experience as a recruitment consultant in the oil and gas industry.

  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of Nigerian labor laws, recruiter’s permit requirements, and compliance with ITF, NSITF, NUPRC/DPR permits, and pension regulations.

  • Skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities, excellent communication and client relationship skills, proficiency in drafting job descriptions, advertising roles, shortlisting candidates, and managing end-to-end recruitment processes.

  • Personal Attributes: Proactive, results-driven, and able to work independently while reporting to the CEO.
