The company is seeking a dedicated IT Technical Support & Compliance Officer to ensure seamless technology operations and uphold stringent IT governance across its branches.

ROLE OVERVIEW

This full-time position combines hands-on technical support with IT policy enforcement. The selected candidate will serve as the first point of contact for IT issues at their assigned branch and actively monitor systems to ensure compliance with the Group’s IT policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-User Support (50%): Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and printer issues across Windows, macOS, and mobile platforms. Manage user accounts and Google Workspace services, escalating complex incidents as necessary.

  • Compliance & Monitoring (30%): Conduct regular checks against Group IT policies, including asset logs, patch status, antivirus dashboards, and backup reports. Perform spot audits and document findings with corrective actions.

  • Training & Documentation (15%): Deliver training sessions on safe computing practices, phishing awareness, and effective use of Google Workspace tools. Maintain up-to-date “How-To” guides and knowledge base articles.

  • Project & Vendor Support (5%): Assist with IT project rollouts, such as WAN upgrades, CCTV installations, VoIP implementations, and ERP module deployments. Liaise with external vendors to verify work quality and ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).

Qualifications & Skills

  • OND, HND, or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on technical support experience in a multi-site or enterprise environment.

  • Proven track record of enforcing or adhering to information security or IT governance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, ITIL).

  • Proficiency in Google Workspace administration, including Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, and Meet.

  • Experience with helpdesk ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, Freshservice) and basic scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) for automation.

  • Familiarity with CCTV, VoIP, point-of-sale hardware, and networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, Wi-Fi). Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer-service-oriented approach.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and maintain detailed documentation.
