Key Responsibilities
The Internal Control Analyst will be responsible for:
-
Monitoring internal control processes of both the CPFA and the Fund.

Implementing the company’s internal control framework to mitigate and detect fraud.

Ensuring compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and regulations.

Increasing the operational efficiency of the CPFA and the Fund.

Identifying internal control gaps and deficiencies.
-
Reporting results of reviews, analyses, and investigations to control owners and CPFA Management.

Following up on remediation plans, examination, and audit recommendations to ensure timely implementation.

Providing support for and liaising with external consultants, advisers, regulators, internal or external auditors during audits, business reviews, and examinations.

Providing in-house training to enhance operational efficiency or recommending external training as appropriate.
Qualifications and Experience
To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

A Bachelor’s Degree in the Management Sciences or related disciplines.

Relevant professional qualifications.
-
Good knowledge of the pension sector regulation, best practices, and general investment management practices.

A minimum of five (5) years cognate experience, including at least three (3) years in a control role.

Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent organizational, communication, time management, and interpersonal skills.
