Requirements for Teaching Positions:

Minimum of a first degree in the relevant discipline (B.Ed, B.Sc (Ed), or B.A. (Ed) from a recognized university).
Alternatively, a B.A. or B.Sc with a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) or its equivalent.
Possession of a Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) Certificate/License is compulsory.
NYSC discharge certificate or evidence of exemption is required.
SSCE/NECO/WASC/GCE ‘O/L’ credits in five (5) subjects, including English and Mathematics, are compulsory (not more than two sittings).
Teaching experience in a secondary school is an advantage.
