About the Role
As a Support Personnel job, your main responsibility is to support pipeline surveillance operations by collecting, processing, and analyzing data to prevent crude oil theft and respond to security incidents. You’ll report to the Head of Availability and RoW Management and work within a team dedicated to safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
As part of the Support Personnel job, you’ll:

Collate and analyze data streams for early detection of security threats

Maintain and interpret databases, identifying trends in incidents

Operate surveillance tools—infrared systems, GPS-enabled cameras, and video systems

Use advanced IT and geomatics tools to support surveillance programs

Conduct investigations and coordinate security intelligence efforts

Generate clear, compelling reports and presentations using strong visualization skills
Qualifications & Skills
To excel in this Support Personnel job, you should possess:

A Bachelor’s degree (BA/BSc/HND) in Computer Science or related field

At least 2 years’ experience in data management or technical surveillance roles

Certifications in T-BOSIET or HUET for offshore safety readiness

Familiarity with SPDC pipeline geography and Right-of-Way (RoW) corridors

Proficiency in MS Office, with the ability to manage high-tech surveillance systems

Excellent analytical, detail orientation, and organizational abilities

Strong communication skills that enhance report clarity and visual presentation
Work Environment & Challenges
