Job Title: Officer, Card Settlement
Location: Walter Carrington Crescent, Lagos Job Type: Full-time Business Segment: Group Functions
Key Responsibilities
Card Transaction Settlement: Ensure timely settlement of all Visa and POS transactions.
General Ledger Management: Post customer transactions into appropriate General Ledger (GL) accounts.
Balance Reconciliation: Balance incoming and outgoing files daily to ensure accuracy.
Merchant Transactions: Ensure merchant transactions are posted into appropriate GL accounts.
Financial Entries: Apply entries to relevant expense or revenue accounts daily.
Data Management: Ensure all necessary files are dropped into the Data Store on a daily basis.
Qualifications and Experience
Education: First Degree (BSc) in Science or Social Science field.
Experience: 2-3 years of experience in card transaction authorization, clearing, and settlement processes is advantageous.
Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of banking transaction processes relevant to products and services offered to customers.
