Key Responsibilities
The Accounts Officer will:

Maintain and reconcile fixed asset records and register at the plant in compliance with corporate policies and IFRS standards

Calculate and record asset depreciation accurately

Review CAPEX requests and update fixed asset register accordingly
-
Reconcile sub-ledger with general ledger periodically

Lead physical asset stock-takes and ensure correct labelling and documentation
-
Support month-end closings, year-end audit schedules, and financial report production
-
Assist in the development and refinement of fixed asset management policies

Perform additional accounting duties as assigned
Job Requirements
Candidates must possess:

A Bachelor’s degree (BSc/BA/HND) in Accounting, Finance, or related field

2–9 years of relevant work experience in accounting or finance functions

Professional certification (ACA, ACCA) is a plus
-
Strong knowledge of IFRS, fixed asset accounting, and SAP or similar ERP systems

Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
-
High ethical standards, integrity, and proficiency in MS Office
