Job Title: Quantity Surveyor
Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities
As a Quantity Surveyor, you’ll play a key role in project budgeting, cost estimation, and financial planning, ensuring that construction projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Your responsibilities will include:

Preparing detailed cost estimates and analyzing project costings for tenders.

Evaluating and negotiating quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.
-
Tracking change orders, preparing documentation, and ensuring contractual compliance.

Managing project budgets and controlling costs across all phases of construction.

Providing accurate BOQs, feasibility studies, and value engineering reports.

Liaising with clients, contractors, and consultants for regular progress updates and financial advice.

Reviewing tender documentation and conducting comprehensive cost-benefit analyses.

Using QS software tools like CostX, AutoCAD, or MS Project for detailed reporting.
Qualifications & Experience
To qualify, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying from a recognized institution.

Minimum of 1–2 years post-NYSC experience in the construction industry.

Must be resident in Abuja.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and at least one QS software tool.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and teamwork skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks independently with attention to detail.
