Role Responsibilities
The Cashier will handle customer payments, issue receipts, and ensure accurate cash handling. Responsibilities include daily cash reconciliation, reporting discrepancies, and maintaining organised financial records. The role also involves bank deposits, petty cash management, and collaboration with finance and sales teams to support smooth daily operations.
Requirements & Qualifications
Candidates should possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. A minimum of 1–3 years of experience in cashiering or cash management is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), strong communication skills, high integrity, and team spirit are essential. Experience with POS systems and basic accounting software is an added advantage.
