What the Role Entails

As a trade analyst, you’ll be an integral part of the trading desk, focusing on:
Market & Pricing Analysis
You’ll monitor and scrutinize global and local oil product prices (e.g. Platts, Argus), exchange rates, shipping costs, and other variables influencing landed cost. Expect to deliver pricing reports and strategic pricing recommendations.

Trade Performance Reporting
You’ll analyze margins, profitability per cargo/trade, and operational KPIs. Collaborating closely with the finance team, you’ll reconcile volumes, costs, and revenue insights.

Import & Supply Chain Support
You’ll forecast stock levels, demand trends, and risks like stockouts—working hand in hand with logistics and depot teams to optimize supply chain planning.

Keeping tabs on rival pricing strategies and market share, you’ll also stay updated with regulatory developments from bodies like NMDPRA and NNPC.

Data Management & Forecasting

Who Should Apply
