Role Overview

As a Sr. Engagement & Project Delivery Manager, you will be at the forefront of guiding government clients through the deployment lifecycle of Workday’s solutions. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Project Management: Oversee multiple Workday product implementations, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget as outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW).

  • Client Collaboration: Work closely with client project managers to identify and resolve issues that could impact project scope and timelines.

  • Team Leadership: Provide guidance and mentoring to Professional Services resources working on your implementations.

  • Strategic Planning: Develop key project deliverables such as charters, staffing plans, and issue logs to ensure successful project outcomes.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Present at Executive Steering Committee meetings and ensure clients leverage Workday best practices.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates should possess:

  • Experience: A minimum of 6 years managing medium to large enterprise ERP implementations, preferably within the federal or state and local government sectors.

  • Technical Expertise: Experience with ERP applications such as Workday, Oracle, PeopleSoft, SAP, Ultimate, Lawson, or similar.

  • Functional Knowledge: A solid understanding of at least one ERP business area: Financials, HCM, Payroll, or Services Procurement.

  • Consulting Background: Prior consulting experience, either as an internal consultant or with a consulting/software company.

  • Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
