Role Overview
As a Payroll Specialist at SHIN, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring compliance with Nigerian labor laws, and maintaining accurate payroll records. This full-time, on-site position is based in Lagos.
Key Responsibilities

Payroll Administration: Manage the entire payroll cycle, including data entry, calculations, and processing.

Statutory Compliance: Ensure adherence to Nigerian labor laws, including PAYE, pension contributions, and other statutory deductions.

System Management: Utilize payroll software (e.g., Sage, SAP, Oracle) to process payroll and generate reports.

Data Management: Maintain and update employee payroll records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

Reporting: Prepare and submit payroll-related reports to management and regulatory bodies as required.
Qualifications & Experience

Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.

Professional Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in payroll administration.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, formulas) and experience with payroll software.

Knowledge Base: Strong understanding of Nigerian labor laws and payroll tax regulations.

Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
