Role Overview
As an Account Executive – Emerging Markets, you will be instrumental in driving Workday’s growth by:

Developing Strategies: Crafting strategies to prioritize, target, and close key opportunities in assigned territories.

Account Planning: Collaborating with pre-sales and other resources to ensure strategic alignment for assigned accounts.

Sales Initiation: Initiating and supporting sales of Workday solutions within medium enterprise prospects.

Forecasting: Maintaining accurate and timely customer/prospect, pipeline, and service forecast data.
Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
-
Approximately 5+ years of experience selling SaaS/Cloud-based ERP, HCM, Financial, Planning, or Analytics solutions to C-level executives from a field sales position.

Proven experience negotiating deals with various C-suite executives to close opportunities.

Experience in engaging in a programmatic approach to generate and develop leads within your territory.
Preferred Qualifications:

A proven track record in a high-velocity sales cycle, including prospecting for a portion of opportunities.

Understanding of the strategic competitive landscape of the industry by staying up to date with trends and customer needs.

Experience leveraging and partnering with internal team members on account strategies.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Compensation & Benefits
Workday offers a competitive compensation package, including:

Base Salary: $110,300 – $134,800 USD annually.

Bonus/Commission: Eligibility for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus.

Stock Grants: Annual refresh stock grants.

Flexible Work Schedule: Hybrid role requiring at least 50% of time spent in the office or field.
