Role Overview
As a Transaction Monitoring Analyst, you will play a key role in detecting suspicious financial activity and helping to combat fraud within Moniepoint’s dynamic payment ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:

Analyze E-Channel transactions to detect suspicious activities and unusual transaction patterns.

Flag and escalate suspicious inflows, and place liens on fraudulent transactions.

Collaborate with law enforcement, financial institutions, and internal investigation teams to recover stolen funds.

Prepare and submit reports detailing fraudulent transactions and compliance measures.
-
Contact customers directly to validate transaction authenticity.

Proactively monitor accounts that show high-risk behavior.

Block and restrict fraudulent accounts after investigation.

Ensure all monitoring activities align with regulatory and internal compliance standards.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, IT, Computer Science, Information Security, or Economics.

Certifications such as ACA, CFE, or Security+ are highly advantageous.
Experience:

2 – 4 years in fraud detection, customer service, transaction monitoring, or investigations.

Background in Banking, FinTech, FMCG, Insurance, or related sectors.

Experience in at least two or more of the above areas is a big plus.
