Job Title: Internal Control Officer – E‑Channels
Location: Lagos, Nigeria

Role Summary
The Internal Control Officer will be responsible for conducting oversight on e-channel platforms such as ATMs, POS, Internet Banking, and instant card issuance. The officer will analyze reports, detect risks, ensure process compliance, and protect digital revenue streams within the bank.
Key Responsibilities

Perform daily reviews of e-channel transaction reports.

Monitor reconciliations for NIP, POS, Mastercard, Visa, Interswitch, and NIBSS.

Detect and prevent fraud risks in ATM and POS operations.

Oversee digital commission earnings and verify correct revenue posting.

Identify system control lapses and propose remediation strategies.

Maintain audit trails and control policies for online card issuance.

Provide internal reports to management on potential control failures.
Candidate Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Banking, Finance, or related field.

3–5 years relevant work experience, preferably in internal control, electronic banking, or financial auditing.

Good understanding of banking e-channel systems.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

High level of integrity and attention to detail.

Proficient in MS Excel and control tools for transaction monitoring.
